I started this tutorial video when strange things suddenly started happening... It was caught on camera...
I will soon make a big November update with sneak peeks and artwork to enjoy, also reveal some of the boardgame visuals, and more. I am also planning a new little drawing event! More about that in next update!
The production is moving forward and we are in high spirits!

Brother Maynes logbook, The Night where we found the Eye
The stone stood tall and clear as Kenzu, and myself, came nearer. Our research has brought us here. This proves it. I am sure... A deity is involved in this story of ours. I thought Alethrion got the best of them, but nay. I will immidiately start to investigate more about this "Eye" sign.
Dear travelers!
We are moving forward on the designs and storyboards - it is going great! We are an epic little team, or adventuring party, who have gathered to go on a mission. A mission to tell Tira's story. We started in a very "hyggelig" environment and then set up the studio beginning August. We are very happy that we (Skjald) were allowed to set up our workspace at Copenhagen Bombay, another animation company in Denmark. We have a creative and funky environment here!
Here is a little video log of the first two months (July and August, 2019):
*Even though we show a little of the storyboards, it is not certain that any of it will be in the final film.
As we have been mentioning in previous updates, we are almost ready with many of the the physical packages. The boardgame is the only one that still has some way to go. We would like you all to fill out the survey on Backerkit as soon as possible so we can continue on that. We are waiting for some test prints, and if they are good then we can start the heavy packaging work.

Then I would also like to make a shout-out to this Kickstarter project called True Tail. I remember when I saw this the first time back in 2014 when we were making The First Hero episode - and here they are on a quest to make their pilot episode. This is how they describe their series: "It is a flash animated adventure series for anyone who loves cute animals wielding some crazy magical powers. GREETINGS EPIC BACKERS!
Here comes a little update on our preproduction progress! We are now setting up for studio on Refshale-Island in Copenhagen - right across the little mermaid, so she can have her fins on us ;)
The real fun begins the 5th of August where we start the boarding, props and new designs! We are in the process of preparing that, as well as designing the boardgame visuals and the story - we can’t wait to share it with you! Last week, Mikkel held a talk at the Animator Festival in Poland, where he told about the journey of ToA and how kickstarter and the community (you all) made it possible. Most important lesson: The journey is the true reward - Amerath, Vito and Wilhelm can confirm that!
On another note, BACKERKIT surveys are coming this week, so stay tuned! Both physical and digital rewards are handled there - some rewards may find their new owners Alethrion Universe very soon… ;) Make sure to check out our awesome add-ons section as well. We added this since many of you asked for some specific rewards.

Greetings travelers!
Here is the first update since our campaign ended! Thank you so much for a very exciting and fun campaign!
Practical stuff! We are setting up a Backerkit at the moment - so for all of you who had failed payments, there will be an extra chance there to make the pledge a successful and get your rewards. Also, for the ones who have asked for add ons - we are setting up an option for that in there as well. Surveys for your addresses and such will also be through that platform this time. It is the first time we are trying it out so bare with us while we are setting it up.
Team! We are in June and July planning and setting up for the next episode, as well as getting an overview of the rewards, planning the shipment and more. The creative team is coming in August, where we will start the preproduction (Storyboards, new designs, technical tests, concept art, color script, and the like). That will be in a studio set up and everything needs to be ready by then. Right, we are a small team consisting of me (story, setting up, planning... a bit of everything), Ina (post campaign), Clara (post campaign), Nicolai (story and assistant) and Kasper (helping on the YouTube channel). As you can see in the image below, we are working in my home office in these months before August! It's cozy!

We made it to the finish line. Thank you all so much for being aboard and being part of our journey.

The kickstarter campaign has allowed us to continue the main series - the Patreon will aim to continue the YouTube channel and make all the other things around the series and in the best case make new and extra animated content!
