Welcome back travelers of Alethrion,
Brother Maynes, Research Log, #002: My research has revealed secrets that I know will shake the world... But before I share further I have to tell about an important character in this big puzzle. Her name is Tira and she was the only child of an unlikely couple consisting of the worshiped hero Bruhn and the fierce thug leader Mira. Bruhn left Mira before Tira was born, but that is a tale for another day… after many weeks of gathering my notes on this topic I came to the conclusion that the famous hero who goes by the name Wilhelm killed Mira - I am not completely certain why yet, but I believe she tried to steal Alethrion's treasure map from him. Tira witnessed her mother cut off two of Wilhelm’s fingers before she was pierced by his sword and pushed into certain death. I imagine that silence followed after the battle... only disturbed by a faint disco beat that could be heard from the upper levels of the City of Drahloque.
Tira, only 6 years at the time, had been frozen in the window for some time before she went down to the battleground. She picked up Wilhelm’s fingers and swore revenge. All that she now desired was to train and become stronger than her mother and one day kill Wilhelm. She was raised by Mira’s gang members, Uruth and Zit, but Mira had been their mountain, their queen and their mother and this role was now missing. As time went by Tira took over her mother’s role as the gang leader and got a lot of things to deal with during her teenage years. She started to forget about Wilhelm and needed to figure out who she was... but destiny is a stubborn old hag and Wilhelm would soon be part of her story again...
